The Pennsylvania Rock Show is an online radio show/podcast/FM program that features a studio guest and is full of songs from the best unsigned bands Pennsylvania has to offer. Johnny Walyko and Pete Peters from Project 52 joined Bill on the show for the first time to discuss what Project 52 (songs) is and how Pete hooked up with Johnny. We talked about the complications of recording a song weekly. They talk about the bassist Daniel who they use on the tracks as well. Johnny actually met Daniel for the first time when they played a show together a few weeks ago. We talked about how to incorporate Johnny’s girlfriend into the recording process. We talked about their military backgrounds.
In segment two we talked about their newest song “Stuck” and what it is about and how they recorded it. We talked a little bit about their style and recording process as well as where people can download the 52 songs that they are creating. The songs have been recorded at the Light House Project and the University of Pittsburgh.
Bill is a teacher by day and webmaster by night. Bill started working with bands and their online presence in 1995. He founded AK Music Scene in February of 2004 and the Pennsylvania Rock Show followed shortly after in September of 2004. In October of 2016, he founded Podcast your Scene Bill hopes that his websites help the bands around the world get their music heard. Unsigned music creates signed music, and there are a lot of bands out there that deserve a shot at that. In late 2017, Bill started his 4th unsigned music website, www.buildthescene.com
