“Baby Mikey” McCully is the recipient of this year’s
Annual Rock for Life Benefit Concert, now in its
ninth year. Baby Mikey, of McIntyre, PA, was born
three months premature on February 8 of this year
due to a condition known as Periocardial Effusion, an
abnormal accumulation of fluid around the heart. The
very next day Baby Mikey underwent heart surgery to
correct the problem, and with only a 25% chance of
success, he is currently undergoing regular treatments
to make sure he comes out of this medical condition
on the winning end.
When:
August 1 - 6:00 pm - midnight
August 2 - noon - midnight

Its been a long time since the last live band was on the PA Rock Show due to the impending baby invasion. Well Aiden met his first Rock Star the other day (Wally Wright, Singer for kaj, and former step 11 singer). So now we're going to introduce him to Chux Beta live in the studio!

For the first time ever, there was not a new PA Rock Show last Friday, June 20, 2008. While regrettable on my part, I had a pretty good reason. My newborn son came home on that date and I decided to spend time putting furniture together and with he and my wife.
Well, it has been a long time since we have had live bands, with good reason too. The studio/livingroom has been inunduated with baby paraphanilia. We are slowly finding the room again. The baby was born on 6-18-08 and the landlord finished the remodel of the nursery on 6-20-08. We are slowly getting things moved into the nursery and out of the studio/livingroom. Once that happens, the live band/podcast should resume. Wish us luck....
In related news, Aiden is starting to sleep longer at night... Thank GOD!

NO we haven't died and gone away. We just have an issue to resolve. Our studio is currently filled with baby shower gifts that do not have a home! As soon as the baby's room is finished and the gifts can be moved there, we'll start booking bands again. We will not be missing any shows, Bill has just about enough room to sit down and DJ the show LOL. Keep sending in your music and we'll keep exposing you to the world!

This is my drum kit that is for sale. It is gently used (only a small amount of wear on the heads) and in very excellent condition. This kit retails for $659.99 without cymbals. However, included with the set are a 20" ride cymbal, 16" crash cymbal, 14" highhats, and a Pulse double bass pedal, none of which come with the set at it's $659 price tag. So... What this means for you, the potential buyer, is an AWESOME DEAL. The picture below represents the set but my kit is actually metallic blue with silver flake in the paint and has 2 cymbal stands. I am asking (a very generous) $350 for the set which is less than half of its actual value. I may be able to negotiate slightly lower given the right situation.
